Wynne is interested in making minimalist paintings with a non-spiritual, mystical or of religious interest.  He has been doing matter of fact minimalist paintings since his college days in the late 70’s.  In the most recent works, Wynne is taking a workman like approach to the most democratic of all art forms to create modest paintings which are relatively small in scale using supplies from local hardware stores and hobby shops.
