50 artists were chosen by Polaroid and given a Polaroid GL10 printer with the freedom to create whatever came to mind and to give them a chance to explore the infinite number of ways technology can enable creative expression. The exhibition features a mix of artists which include Jennifer Juniper Stratford, Philip-Lorca diCocia, Norman Jean Roy, Jean Pigozzi, James Franco,Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn), Chase Jarvis, Marylin Minter, Dabs Myla, and Hilary Pecis.
Jennifer Juniper Stratford's photographs are part of a new series called BEING which were taken on the UFO road trip across America.
Made in Polaroid opens on September 7 at Phillips de Pury & Company’s gallery at 450 West 15th Street in New York City, with works being auctioned on September 14 at Phillips de Pury & Company’s other gallery location on 450 Park Avenue.
